The Gujarat Technological University (GTU) on Thursday announced that its efforts to upload as many 3.5 lakh credit records on the Academic Bank of Credit, now referred to as Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR), have resulted in the second-highest uploads among 450 universities in India over the past 100 days. According to an internal announcement by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in Surat with 1.6 lakh records ranks sixth among the top 25 universities for credit uploads.<p>UGC, in the internal communication, announced 25 top performers to acknowledge Academic Bank of Credit (ABC): Milestone across India report. Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University in Bareilly topped the chart with 4.8 lakh records. Currently, result data with total 6,33,355 credits has been uploaded on the GTU portal, besides APAAR ID of 3,33,584 students. These students can view the exam result data along with credit with APAAR ID on their dashboard on the portal itself, officials said.</p><p>Officials said that universities will be able to upload credit pattern records with APAAR IDs till December 2024.</p>
