Guj plans 25% annual rise over three years

Following widespread protests from real estate developers and the public, the Gujarat government is considering a proposal for gradual increases in jantri rates over three years. The newly announced rates show more than 100 percent rise in many areas. Taking inspiration from Maharashtra's model, the government plans to implement annual increases of 25 percent over three years.
