A hmedabad, which has received just half of its season average rainfall, promised to make up for it on Monday with showers having begun early morning. However, even as rainfall continued through the day, in increments, the average rainfall for the city was only 1.02 inches.
Out of the seven zones in the city, South West zone received the highest average rainfall on Monday at 1.55 inches, followed by South Zone with 1.3 inches. Central zone received 1 inch and the rest of the city received less than this amount.
