Manish Sahay alias Gupta and Ramesh Desai, two of the friends, were involved in a same-sex relationship that ended tragically when a fight escalated into violence.
Ramesh killed Manish and disappeared, leaving the police with little to go on.
The Ahmedabad City Crime Branch, however, recently reopened the cold case and, through human intelligence gathering, apprehended Ramesh.
