Amid the ongoing hearing of a petition challenging his appointment, Dr Vijay Shrivastava, whose term as vice-chancellor of MS University (MSU) of Baroda, Vadodara, was to end on February 8, 2025, resigned from the post. Shrivastava's counsel informed the Gujarat High Court about the development that happened on Tuesday late evening. The HC has posted the matter for further hearing on Thursday.
