Nephew hired shooters to kill Nehrunagar trader: Cops

The murder of 66-year-old Badaji Modi, the owner of Borana Vegetables and Mahalaxmi Fruits in Nehrugar, appears to be a case of alleged revenge killing over a family feud. According to crime branch sources, Ashok Khetaram allegedly hired sharpshooters for Rs 25 lakh to kill his uncle Badaji in order to avenge the murder of his father, Khetaram.

Police sources stated that Ashok believed his father was killed over a land dispute by Badaji in Mandawa in Sirohi district of Rajasthan about a year ago.
