Participants were required to run those 150 metres, climb the 600 steps, descend those steps and return to the starting point after running 150 metres again."The contest participants were flagged off at 7 am on Saturday, December 28.Divakar Rajbhare of Adarsh Hindi Vidhyalaya, Vadodara, won the contest by completing the entire race in 7:21 minutes, breaking the previous record of 7:45 minutes.In the girls' category, Asmita Kateshiya of Model Day School, Sanosara, won by completing the contest in 9:10 minutes.There were a total of 278 participants, including 84 in the women's category.The winners will get direct entry into the Girnar Aarohan-Avrohan contest.The winners in both categories were awarded a prize money of Rs 25,000.
