The Gujarat Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (the Tribunal) in Gandhinagar has introduced a hybrid hearing system, allowing lawyers and litigants to appear online via Zoom. This development, eliminates the need for in-person appearances and saves time and travel expenses for those residing outside the capital. The adoption of hybrid hearings was announced on July 8, during hearing of a case involving Surpath Developers.
Hybrid hearings offer the flexibility to appear either in person or online, providing greater convenience for all parties involved. To utilize the online option, participants must inform the tribunal's registry two days before the scheduled hearing.
