Disappointed with the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) top management's selective communication following multiple emails, a section of alumni and the student body has once again reached out to the director via emails.
They seek transparency and answers to their concerns over actions—or lack thereof—after the alleged suicide of second-year PGP student Akshith Bhukya this September. The emails, addressed to director Bharat Bhasker, demand answers to the questions raised by the student body.
"We are yet to hear from you. There's a family who didn't celebrate Diwali this year, there's a student who lost his life, and getting a response from you on how to avoid similar events in the future is the least one can expect," one recent email to Bhasker states.
