The Collector and Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad, and two other top officials have been issued show cause notices over alleged registration of an FIR under the land grabbing act against a 65-year-old man who spent seven days in jail. The notices were sent to Collector-Ahmedabad and Resident Additional Collector Sudhir Patel by Dr Jayanti Ravi, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue department.
