Frequent traffic jams outside Law Garden frustrate commuters; shoppers demand better traffic management, declaration of stretch as 'no vehicle zone' until Navratri

Traffic lawlessness at LAW GARDEN

With Navratri-the world's longest dancing festival- just 10 days away, Amdavadis are scrambling to complete their last- minute shopping for traditional dresses and jewellery at Law Garden, one of Ahmedabad's most popular shopping destinations.

However, the sudden rush of shoppers, combined with illegal parking along the stretch between Law Garden Cross Road and Chakli Circle (Tap Circle), and from Chakli Circle towards CG Road, is causing traffic jams lasting up to 30 minutes in the evening.

Both commuters and shoppers are finding themselves increasingly inconvenienced by the traffic chaos and poor management.
