Two premises sealed in city over sale of adulterated ghee

In light of the shocking revelations of a catering company using sub-standard ghee to make 'Prasad' at the Ambaji Bhadaravi Poonam fair, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Wednesday carried out checks of food safety in the city.

A statement from the civic body said that inspections were carried out at 17 firms in the central zone of the city and 13 samples of ghee were collected.
