Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted on Thursday that India would not compromise even an "inch" of its territory, expressing confidence in the strength of the nation's armed forces. Speaking at Sir Creek in Gujarat's Kutch district, near the India-Pakistan border, he emphasised India's resolute approach to border security.
"People of India feel safe because of you. When the world sees you, it sees India's strength; when enemies see you, they see the end of their sinister plans," Modi told personnel from the Border Security Force, Army, Navy, and Air Force during a Diwali celebration with the troops.
