Judi, 89, was presented with the sapling at this year's Chelsea Flower Show by tree expert Tony Kirkham.
The Sycamore Gap tree stood next to Hadrian's Wall, near Crag Lough in Northumberland.
Judi described her joy at planting trees in the garden of her home in Surrey.
