RILEY Keough says she always has to work hard to prove herself as an actress because she is Elvis Presley's grandchild.

The Mad Max star, 35, also revealed her late mum warned her not to be "an embarrassing celebrity kid" when she said she wanted to go into showbiz.

She recalled Lisa Marie Presley saying: "If you're going to do this, you have to be so good at what you do or else nobody's going to take you seriously, you're not going to get any jobs and it's going to be embarrassing. You don't want to be an embarrassing celebrity kid."
