Ainslie says tough times can spark team's revival

BRITS WON'T BE SUNK YET

BEN AINSLIE is drawing strength from fighting his way out of tighter America's Cup corners as Ineos Britannia try to overturn a 4-0 deficit against Emirates Team New Zealand.

The match resumes today with two races in Barcelona and the British team desperate to turn the contest around.

As the man who helped to engineer an astonishing fightback for Oracle Team USA in 2013, when they came from 8-1 down to beat the Kiwis 9-8, Ainslie knows what can happen when momentum swings in the America's Cup.

And the team principal believes tough times together in the build-up to this contest have moulded Ineos Britannia into a resilient unit capable of pulling off something similar.
