It is the first time the nation has been given a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the preparations.
And while Charles - like his mother the late Queen Elizabeth - might make the 10-minute TV event look simple, the video reveals it is anything but easy.
The King, 76, is shown testing the autocue and practising lines before sitting down to watch the final edit.
