Cannabis Growing Gang Filled Bedroom With Soil

A DRUGS gang filled a family home with 10 tons of soil as they turned the rental property into a cannabis farm.

Charles Reeves Father-of-one advertised his house online and was approached by an estate agency that claimed it had lined up as tenants City workers with children.

But they were actually con artists "vetted" by a bogus company.

They caused "extensive damage" by turning the property into a drugs factory, using high-tech hydroponics and heating to grow cannabis plants within mounds of soil in the main bedroom.

Met Police officers seized more than 400 plants with a street value of hundreds of thousands of pounds.
