BANK holiday visitors place their lives - and those of youngsters - at risk by peering over the edge of a cliff known for its sudden collapses.

Families, dog walkers and selfie-takers flocked to the Seven Sisters yesterday to enjoy a stroll in the sunshine.

But many ignored the warning signs and stood precariously close to the edge - even though the spot has seen two major cliff falls in the last three months.

Photos from a 90-minute period in the morning show multiple people dicing with death at the beauty spot near Birling Gap, East Sussex.
