A PRISON ringleader officer who was the of a smuggling gang supplying inmates with drugs and mobile phones hidden inside boxes of cereal has been jailed.
Mills, 34, Mills, 34, Martin was caught trying to smuggle banned items in Weetabix and Ready Brek packets.
He was stopped as he arrived for work after prison bosses became suspicious in April 2018. Detectives linked several other people to the smuggling ring, including prisoners on the block Mills worked in. Inmates' families would pay money into Mills' account and he would take the prohibited items to work for prisoners to sell inside.
