BORIS Johnson has accused Labour of "abandoning" Israel in a row over suspending arms export licences.
The former Prime Minister led a backlash against the controversial move that was announced by Foreign Secretary David Lammy on Monday.
It came as the bodies of six hostages were recovered from Gaza. Israel claims they were "murdered" by their Hamas captors as IDF soldiers closed in to rescue them.
The UK has halted around 30 out of a total of approximately 350 licences over fears they could be used in violations of international humanitarian law in the Gaza conflict.
Mr Johnson wrote on X: "Hamas is still holding many Jewish hostages while Israel tries to prevent a repeat of the 7th October massacre.
