DAWID MALAN wants to put his World Cup heartache to one side and make himself undroppable for England’s 50-over title defence next year.
Malan missed Sunday’s T20 final win with a groin strain, saying it was “one of the toughest days” in his career and admitted he shed a tear on the eve of the match.
But after smashing a superb 134 in a losing cause in the ODI series opener against Australia yesterday, he believes 2023 in India could offer some consolation.
“We all have tough times in our careers,” said Malan, right.
