She will join the King and the Prince of Wales to honour the nation's war dead in a significant step on her gradual return to royal duty.

Her presence marks her first official engagements on two consecutive days since the start of the year.

The announcement came after her husband William described 2024 as "brutal" and "probably the hardest year in my life" with both Kate and the King diagnosed with cancer.

The Princess revealed eight months ago she had an undisclosed form of the disease and completed chemotherapy in September. In a video Kate released at the time she spoke of how she was "looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months".

She added her focus was "doing what I can to stay cancer free".
