FOUR brothers are urging men to get checked for prostate cancer after they were all diagnosed with the disease within months.

Steve Hastings, 70, and his youngest brother Tim, 64, both had prostate specific antigen tests as part of routine medical check-ups and were told they had cancer at the end of 2023.

Andy, 65 and Jim, 67, were given the bad news this year.

The four, who all have careers in engineering, are now on bespoke treatment plans and are likely to make full recoveries as the cancer was spotted early.
