Top three-year-old Rosallion, a late scratching from last week's Sussex Stakes, was not among the 40 horses in Europe's richest mile race, the £1.1 million Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, on Qipco British Champions Day at Ascot.
And King Of Steel, who won the Champion Stakes last year on Frankie Dettori's final ride in Britain, is also missing from the list of 56 engaged in the £1.3m Qipco Champion Stakes, having been sidelined by injury since May.
