
SUCCESSION star Brian Cox has become the latest high-profile figure to condemn cuts to winter fuel payments drawn up by Rachel Reeves.
The actor has demanded the Chancellor "look at the reality" of axing the payment to 10 million OAPs not on pension credit.
It is part of plans to plug what Ms Reeves says is a £22billion "black hole" in the nation's finances left by the Tories. Cox's intervention came as a YouGov poll revealed one in three Britons has dubbed the cuts the worst thing Labour has done in its first 100 days in power.
