BRITAIN'S Paralympic triathlon stars helped deliver another magnificent haul of gold medals yesterday.
World champion Dave Ellis, 38, and Megan Richter, 23, both won their events to be crowned champions at the Paris Paralympics.
Fellow triathlete Claire Cashmore, 36, won silver, with 2021 champion Lauren Steadman, 31, and team-mate Hannah Moore, 27, both claiming bronze in their divisions.
There was another mighty gold rush for Team GB yesterday, with further victories in boccia, swimming and archery.
All in all, Britain secured six gold medals on day five, keeping GB second in the medal table.
Incredible
But it was triathlete Ellis who claimed one of the nation's greatest wins, finishing more than a minute ahead of the rest of the field to seal gold and atone for heartbreak in Tokyo three years ago, when a mechanical failure on his bike cost him the competition.
Placed fifth after the opening swimming section Ellis, racing in the event for visually impaired athletes alongside guide Luke Pollard, caught the leading pack during the cycling.
