TWO people have been arrested after a baby girl was attacked by a dog believed to be an XL bully.
Ambulance crews went to the scene and the child was airlifted to a London hospital, where she remains in a serious condition, police said.
An 18-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control. They remain in police custody while inquiries continue.
The dog was seized and destroyed at the family home in Hawkinge, near Folkestone, Kent.
