THIS 4th-century Celtic relic was unearthed by gardener Graham Senior as he weeded an overgrown flowerbed.

The 4in sandstone block he turned up in Coventry bears an early form of Ogham script more usually seen in Ireland.

Experts are trying to decipher a series of lines inscribed on three of its sides and Glasgow University historian Professor Katherine Forsyth has already revealed the name Mael Dumcail.
