FORMER Tory Chancellor Nadhim Zahawi has already bagged a new big job less than a week after announcing he is quitting as an MP.

Mr Zahawi, who stands down at the next General Election, was yesterday named the new chairman of the group behind online retailers Very and Littlewoods. The MP had a short-lived stint as Chancellor in the final days of Boris Johnson's government.

He was sacked as Tom chairman in January 2023 after an inquiry found he had failed to disclose that HMRC was investigating his tax affairs.
