THE family of the woman who was kidnapped and murdered at a farm have offered to buy the property for £1million so they can dig for her body.Muriel McKay, 55, was killed by two brothers at Stocking Farm in 1969.Scotland Yard searched the site in July but did not find her.Grandson Mark Dyer said buying the farm near Bishop's Stortford, Herts, would be "difficult" emotionally but it was necessary for closure.Muriel's son Ian McKay added: "All this depends on the owner wanting to sell. Purchasing [it] would be an emotional response to allow the family to properly search and hopefully seek closure." The July search took place after murderer Nizamodeen Hosein indicated where Muriel, left, was buried. Her family say the hunt was hampered because the killer, now living in Trinidad, was not allowed to return to the UK to assist police.Nizamodeen and late brother Arthur were given life sentences in 1970 for kidnapping and holding Muriel for a £1m ransom before killing her.They wrongly believed she was tycoon Rupert Murdoch's wife.
