THREE Metropolitan Police detectives have been arrested in connection with a suspected international drug plot.
Anti-corruption officers have been investigating concerns that one was involved in importing large quantities of cannabis from North Africa.
The "Line of Duty" squad arrested the detective constable at Stansted Airport on suspicion of being involved in a conspiracy to import drugs.
A source said he was about to fly to Morocco when he was held last August.
It is understood the plot allegedly involved drugs worth millions..
