It's Panini v Topps in battle of albums for Euro '24 tournament

A sticker situation

ONE of the biggest clashes of Euro 2024 will be off the pitch in the battle of the sticker albums.

Panini has been replaced by Topps as the official publisher of the collection.

The Italian giant has been making stickers for the tournament since Euro 1976 in Yugoslavia.

But it has lost its contract to the American upstart, which was bought out by sportswear firm Fanatics in 2022.

And it is turning into a bitter rivalry, with England stars appearing in both albums.

This means mums and dads could be forced to fork out to buy both as young football fans clamour to get stickers of their football heroes.

One statistician estimated that to fill the two could cost up to £1,000.
