NATASHA JONAS grew up a long way from where the streets are paved with gold.
But the Liverpool fighter is hoping a giant mural honouring her success in boxing can inspire more kids to hit the big time.
Jonas, 39, defends her IBF welterweight title against American Mikaela Mayer tonight at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.
Ahead of the fight, the stunning artwork was unveiled in Toxteth, a stone's throw from the house where the two-weight world champion spent her childhood.
"My little girl (Mela) actually used to go to school right across from it," said Jonas, whose first love was football.
"I grew up a five-minute walk from there. There were football pitches down by Toxteth Sports Centre where I would play as a kid.
