Former US President Donald Trump's fraud trial is nearing its end. But for Stormy Daniels, the woman caught in the whirlwind, there is no end in sight.
Trump is the one on trial but Stormy has been judged every day for the past five years.
Unlike Trump's New York jury, Stormy is being judged by those with little mercy, little care for evidence and scant regard for justice.
And with Trump making another run for the White House, she knows the haters and the abuse are only likely to get worse.
The 45-year-old says she had a sexual encounter with the businessman, TV personality and right-wing politician in 2006, just months after his wife, Melania, had given birth to their son, Barron.
A decade later, in the run-up to the election which put Trump in the White House, his lawyer, Michael Cohen, is said to have paid her $130,000 to keep quiet about the alleged affair and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
The story broke in 2018, a year after Trump, who denies the affair, moved into the White House. The 77-year-old is now accused of falsifying business records to disguise the payment and could face prison if convicted.
Speaking from her home in Texas, the adult movie performer says: "Back in 2018, there was stuff like 'liar', 'slut', 'gold digger'. This time around, it's different.
