A GRANDAD who was allegedly kicked to death by a child in a park had previously been abused by feral youths, a friend said.
Bhim Kohli, 80, was walking his dog Rocky when he was attacked 50 yards from home.
Five children a boy and a girl of 14 and one boy and two girls of 12 - were arrested on suspicion of murder.
The 14-year-old boy remained in custody last night, but the other four were released with no further police action.
Bhim died in hospital the day after the attack.
His daughter Susan, 50, said of the assault: "They pushed him, they kicked him in the neck, kicked him in the spine. He was about 30 seconds away from getting home." Teen yobs spat at Bhim and subjected him to vile abuse near his home earlier this summer, his friend Graham Haldane said.
