A BOY aged eight saved his mum's life by calling 999 as she lay dying.
Ryan Reid rang paramedics after noticing mum Alicia, 27, had turned red and was slipping into unconsciousness.
The stricken mum-of-two was unable to breathe or talk after her prescribed antibiotics caused an allergic reaction.
Instead of panicking, Ryan kept his cool and calmly called 999 and gave them the right postcode and address.
