MATTY CASH is revelling in his new licence to thrill at Aston Villa.
Unai Emery's decision to deploy Cash in an advanced right wingback role was instantly rewarded after he scored twice in 12 minutes in the first half of Sunday's impressive 3-1 victory at Burnley.
That made it three wins in a week for Villa and 12 goals following big victories over Everton and Hibernian.
It was the perfect response to their opening-weekend 5-1 thrashing at Newcastle, and the double blow of losing Emi Buendia and Tyrone Mings to serious knee injuries, just days apart.
Cash said: "I was delighted with the brace, but also the fact that we've bounced back and won three games in a row. After the Newcastle game, we were all a bit low, which is normal.
