Celine: My agony

HER face contorted in pain, Celine Dion goes through an excruciating seizure as she fights debilitating Stiff Person Syndrome.

The Canadian singer, 56, insisted such scenes should not be cut from her new series detailing her fight back to health, I Am: Celine Dion.

Celine is seen in the documentary grunting in agony while lying on her back unable to move.

She is attended by medical staff before recovering and singing a song.

Director Irene Taylor said she was thinking, "Should I film it?" when Celine went into the seizure.

She said she decided to continue as the singer, known for her powerful voice, had told her not "to ask permission to film something".

Taylor said: "I was not focused on filming, I was the sound person and my cinematographer was there.
