'CHASE ME' COMIC DIES

IT sometimes seemed Duncan Norvelle, known for his "chase me" catchphrase, laughed so much on stage that he might not be able to get his jokes out.

But the softly spoken comedian also had the audience in stitches with his gags and impressions.

The star, who rose to fame in the 1980s with his camp stage persona, died yesterday aged 66 surrounded by loved ones including his partner Linda Trevallion.
