Daviess mount.poised.to bloom in Snowdrop

CHOISYA is fancied to take the step up to Listed level in her stride to lift the Virgin Bet Price Boosts Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes (2.05) at Kempton this afternoon.

Trained in tandem by Simon Crisford and son Ed (right), Night Of Thunder's daughter followed an upward curve in 2023 with a novice stakes victory at Southwell in January and handicap scores at Haydock, Goodwood and over today's course and distance.

The last success, gained in November, came from a British Horseracing Authority handicap mark of 98.

Now rated 100, Choisya has her sights raised and Harry Davies' mount is taken to make the perfect start to 2024. Eight days on from landing a big pot at Lingfield, AQWAAM has plenty to recommend him in the Virgin Bet Queen’s Prize Handicap (3.15).
