THE family of a 10-year-old girl killed by her pet dog say they are utterly shocked and devastated.
Savannah Bentham was named by police, who have been told the dog's aggression was out of character.
The pet, which locals claimed was an XL Bully, is said to have had a "close, loving relationship" with her.
Savannah's family said: "We are utterly shocked and devastated by what happened to Savannah.
