FIXING THE NHS IS TOP PRIORITY

FIXING the broken NHS should be Keir Starmer's top priority, a Mirror poll reveals.

Almost two-thirds (64%) of those questioned said it topped their list of things that need tackling - ahead of the economy, migration and crime.

Some 54% put controlling the cost of living among their top priorities, while 34% selected cutting migration and 33% chose growing the economy.

Only a fifth listed cutting crime as a primary issue, with 16% wanting action on public services and 12% seeking help for the environment and tackling climate change.
