WOLVES may be going through a tricky patch on the field.

But former boss Nuno Espirito Santo is remembered for what he did off it - as much as the success he enjoyed in the Black Country.

As the Portuguese returns to Molineux tonight with Nottingham Forest, he will receive a warm welcome.

Nuno is remembered fondly because of the time he stood tall when the city of Wolverhampton was distressed.

The 50-year-old himself struggled with COVID as he was apart from his family for long periods of time.

But Forest's manager returns knowing the £250,000 he gifted the club's 'Feed Our Pack' initiative four years ago has been well spent.
