Gangland Execution Link To Headless Man Mystery

Terry Gooderham, 39, and Maxine Arnold, 32, were kidnapped and found shot dead in Epping Forest, East London, 35 years ago today.

Bar stocktaker Terry was apparently killed to stop him talking about a booze and pubs scam involving a Krays associate.

Ex-Met detective Mick Randall has revealed a gang suspected of masterminding the murders was later bugged discussing cutting off the head and arms of a dead man.

The victim was in a car boot and the gangsters were planning to remove his limbs to hinder identification due to his tattoos.

A torso matching this description was found in Bolney, West Sussex, in 1991.

Mr Randall said: "Police there were convinced it was a London crime but got no assistance from the Met." He added he believes all three murders remain unsolved because of police corruption.
