Eddie may resist temptation to spend big in January as Toon teen Miley is a real hit with Howe admitting: I've never seen a kid like him

ROOKIE Lewis Miley's stunning impact has forced Newcastle boss Eddie Howe to re-assess his New Year transfer plans.

Injuries have hit the Toon squad hard and Howe admits he would love to strengthen every department.

But midfield has become less of a concern thanks to the their latest teenage sensation.

At just 17 years old, Miley played every minute against Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United without looking out of place alongside World Cup winners and global superstars.

And he will be in from the start at Everton tonight in a line-up which, with the exception of Martin Dubravka coming in for the crocked Nick Pope, has remained unchanged throughout that period.
