Gove's four-letter fury as Tories flapped over Covid

MICHAEL Gove warned the Government was "f***ing up" in stark WhatsApp messages before the first lockdown.

At the Covid Inquiry yesterday, the senior Tory issued an apology to bereaved families for mistakes made during the pandemic.

He said that these included imposing a lockdown too slowly in March 2020 and not bringing back strict enough measures when the second wave hit.

Mr Gove, who was Cabinet Office Minister during the pandemic, also said the Government needed to reflect on how it bought PPE for hospital staff.
