As Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood nears his 60th birthday he says his dancing days are done after a string of surgeries.
But he has no plans to leave the flagship BBC programme.
He says: "I'd be an idiot to retire. What would I do with myself? I love the show. There's only so much cooking and gardening you can do. I'd get bored.
"I think I'm going to keep working until I drop dead." Viewers are used to him showing off his moves at any opportunity on Strictly.
He would also usually be found on musical theatre tours, being put through his dancing paces.
