I've married 20,000 people.. now it's my turn to tie the knot

EVERY time she married a couple on reality dating shows Love is Blind and Married at First Sight, registrar Cynthia Green relished sharing their moments of joy.

But the happy couples reminded the 60-year-old of one wedding she had yet to attend - her own.

A grandmother-of-three, her 17-year relationship with the father of her children, Aaron, 38 and Alacia, 30, did not lead to marriage.

"We were engaged briefly, but nothing ever came of it," she reflects.

Convincing herself she was fine and didn't need or want to be married, she admits: "Trying not to think about it wasn't always easy when I was marrying people every day.

"And seeing all those couples gazing into each other's eyes, I did wonder when it was my turn.

"From time to time, I'd think 'when am I going to meet my person and get married?""
