KING Charles plans to honour the memory of his late mother by attending this summer's Royal Ascot as he fights cancer.
The 75-year-old is determined to appear at the event, a favourite with the late Queen, who missed just one Ascot during her 70-year reign.
Charles diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in February - had been expected to miss out.
